Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Jacksonville, North Carolina. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations for students, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and delivering engaging therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs.
  • Deliver therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to promote student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of services provided.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid SLP license in the state of North Carolina or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is desirable.
