Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RT) - PRN/Per Diem

Location: Select Specialty Hospital San Diego

Salary: $40.00 per hour + competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends.

At Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals, we take pride in caring for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Our experienced team employs innovative approaches to patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

">Responsibilities:

- Evaluate patient needs and recommend personalized treatment plans.

- Provide respiratory care to patients with complex medical conditions, utilizing your expertise to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to promote continuous quality improvement and optimize patient care.

- Develop and implement educational programs to empower patients and their families with knowledge and confidence.

">Qualifications:

- Possess an 'Active' CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.

- Hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.

- Current state licensure is required; agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire.
