Medical Scribe Opportunity for Career Advancement

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as medical scribes, supporting healthcare providers in documenting patient encounters.
About the Role
As a medical scribe, you will work closely with healthcare providers to accurately document patient information, assisting them in their decision-making process. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be essential in providing top-notch patient care.
Responsibilities
- Schedule: Monday-Wednesday, 8a-5p
- Chart preparation per clinic protocol
- Accompany the provider in all scheduled patient visits
- Document patient history, physical exam, procedures, and patient plan
- Remind provider of relevant quality metrics when appropriate
- Enter laboratory and radiographic studies, as ordered by the provider
- Enter medication orders, as dictated by the provider
- Document and print instructions for the patient
- Review completed charts with the provider between patients or at the completion of shift
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Healthcare track preferred (e.g. pre-med, pre-PA, pre-nursing)
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred with a GPA of 3.00 or greater
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Full-time availability required, Monday-Friday
- Typing speed of at least 60 WPM required, some assignments may require 80 WPM
