We are seeking a skilled General Dentist to join our team at a community health center in Columbus City, Iowa.
Position Details:
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week (4 hours admin time)
- Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM with Wednesday evening until 7 PM
- 15-25 patients/day; 60 minutes for treatment; 45 minutes for child recalls
- Some evenings possible, until about 6:30 PM, to offer evening hours to patients
- Current team: 1 full-time dentist (or 2 part-time dentists), 2 dental hygienists, and 3 dental assistants
- Operatories: 3
- No call
- Skills desired: routine exams and cleanings, simple and surgical extractions, stainless steel crowns, restorative (composite, glass ionomer, and amalgam)
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly desired
Requirements:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- State dental license in Iowa
Benefits:
- $50,000 in student loan repayment for two years of service and eligible for renewal
- Salary $150,000 - $234,000 based on experience + production incentive
- Reimbursement for licensing and professional subscriptions
- When you sign a 3-year contract, you are eligible for a $10,000 bonus each year of that contract and can continue to receive that bonus annually for up to 5 years

- 5-10 paid days + $3,000-$4,000/year for continuing education
