Job Summary:

ResourceMFG is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the efficient operation, corrective and preventive maintenance of production equipment. Your duties will include performing necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment start-up, conducting quality inspections to verify all parts meet specifications and quality standards, and communicating with Operator and Supervisor on all issues concerning quality, components and machine performance in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform efficient operation, corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Conduct quality inspections to verify all parts meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Communicate with Operator and Supervisor on all issues concerning quality, components and machine performance.
  • Complete downtime log accurately.
  • Assure that all labeling documentation is properly identified.
  • Knowledgeable of all appropriate SOP's.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and health and safety requirements.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety, documentation and attendance requirements.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork and maintain all files associated with the position.
  • Participate in performance improvement measures and tasks.
  • Recommends improvements.

Requirements:
  • Use of hands 100% of the workday.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend and stoop throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
  • Good analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with others.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and efficient and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Flexible to work mandatory overtime as needed.
  • Good math skills (understand mass and volume conversions).

Education and Experience:
  • Set up Technician experience preferred.
