THE OPPORTUNITY

The Center for Justice Innovation seeks a highly skilled professional to manage the daily operations of the Eviction Diversion Initiative (EDI). This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, including attorneys, judges, clerks, and social services agencies, to provide critical support to litigants.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a resource database of providers for employment, health, and social services;
  • Communicating with litigants to direct them to stakeholders for assistance;
  • Creating program promotional materials and outreach strategies;
  • Providing information to litigants on navigating the summary proceeding process;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to provide information on workshops, outreach, and trainings on housing-related issues;
  • Representing the EDI program in court and maintaining data and tracking systems for grant deliverables;
  • Identifying funding opportunities and building relationships with potential funders;
  • Drafting grant proposals and reports;
  • Documenting client data, outcomes, and success stories;
  • Recruiting, supervising, and training staff and interns;
  • Overseeing office management, facilities, and technology needs.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience or a Master's degree and 2-3 years of experience or equivalent lived experience in a related area. Excellent written skills and strong communication abilities are required.

Position Type: Full-time.
