The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Department Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our emergency department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $43,000 - $62,000, depending on experience.
About the Role:
In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will work closely with our nursing team to provide high-quality care to patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient exams, collecting vital signs, and preparing patients for treatment. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and education programs.
Requirements:
- BLS Certification: American Heart Association (AHA) certification is required.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience as a Patient Care Tech, nursing assistant, or nursing student enrolled in an accredited institution.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of patient care experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
