We are seeking a highly skilled Banking Professional to join our team at American Pride Bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a passion for delivering exceptional banking experiences.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, promoting and informing them of the Bank's products and services, and providing efficient and high-quality customer service.
- Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting customer relationships by having knowledge of the Bank's products and services.
- Quotes products and rates to promote and inform customers of the Bank's products and services.
- Represents the Bank in business development efforts in the community and at community events.
- Helps customers by opening new accounts, including DDA, savings, IRAs, certificates of deposit, safe deposit boxes, and other bank products.
- Enhances customer relationships by meeting and greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner, handling customer complaints and special circumstances.
- Educates customers about common scams, identity theft risks, and fraud prevention measures to protect the Bank's customers and assets.
- Answers phone and assists callers and/or transfers callers to appropriate personnel.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules governing the Bank's products and services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of banking experience, preferably in a customer service role.
- Experience with Jack Henry Products is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
