About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our Quality Engineering Team in Austin, Texas, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge processes that drive cost efficiency, customer satisfaction, and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities

As a Process Development Senior Principal Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing production methods and controls to meet quality standards while optimizing costs. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver productivity improvements and lead cross-functional teams in process engineering, sales, procurement, manufacturing operations, and logistics.

What You'll Achieve

Develop and implement production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most cost-efficient manner. Recommend and implement improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters. Design and implement effective and efficient business processes with respect to manufacturing, procurement, replenishment, and fulfillment. Guide engineering change management projects, including MOST/Warehouse modeling, data, and fulfillment process improvements. Collaborate closely with procurement and 3PL providers to generate advanced data activities around evaluating 3PL and LSP operations for opportunities to align commercials to relevant work using industry-standard modeling tools like MOST.

Requirements

Must have experience guiding projects, events, specific activities, as well as cost reduction projects for process improvements. 5-7 years' experience in providing technical direction to a team on large and critical projects. Guide tactical and strategic programs and initiatives and will design and implement regional fulfillment processes and forecasts future factory needs. 5-7 years' experience guiding MOST analysis & Process Mapping/Cost Modeling initiatives in Global Fulfillment Centers, require experience in generating Fulfillment Process design, labor content design, warehouse layout design, pricing negotiations, and variable spend details. Experience with Benchmarking industry trends and identify industry capabilities to incorporate into fulfillment and logistics operations.

Desirable Requirements

Advanced certifications in automation, robotics, and project management.

Compensation and Benefits

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $150,450 - $194,700.
