Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives and ensure a safe working environment on our construction sites.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the RoleJob Description
  • Safety Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies for construction projects.
  • Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections of construction sites to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Training and Education: Provide safety training to construction personnel on topics such as hazard recognition, fall protection, equipment operation, and emergency procedures.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate and analyze accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, as well as industry standards.
  2. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans for construction sites.
  3. Communication: Communicate safety expectations and updates to all levels of construction personnel.
  4. Safety Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, including training records, inspection reports, and incident documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) certification is a plus.
  • OSHA 30
  • Proven experience in construction safety management.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
