Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Originator Assistant-Lic to join our team at Envoy Mortgage. As a key member of our mortgage lending team, you will be responsible for assisting loan originators in the mortgage loan process, ensuring timely and accurate loan processing and underwriting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist loan originators in gathering and verifying loan documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and analyze loan applications, credit reports, and other relevant documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with loan originators, processors, and underwriters to resolve issues and ensure smooth loan processing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers, responding to inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and company policies to ensure compliance and optimal loan processing.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as a LOA/Loan Partner and/or Processor preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) and mortgage processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Desktop Underwriter/Desktop Originator (DU/DO), Loan Prospector (LP), and originating systems, Encompass experience preferred.
  • Exceptional follow-up, time management, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, self-motivated, social media savvy, and a forward thinker.
  • Excellent customer service skills and working in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills are a must.
  • Must be a self-starter who is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to resolve issues.
  • Strong relationship building a must, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze issues and create effective resolutions, while managing multiple projects at one time.
  • Must have an active, applicable State(s), NMLS license.
Physical Requirements
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
