Outpatient Physical Therapist

About the RoleAs an Outpatient Physical Therapist with Kaiser Permanente, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting. This involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care. Your primary goal will be to help patients achieve optimal physical function and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans to address their physical therapy needs.
- Administer and prescribe physical agents and exercise programs to promote patient recovery and well-being.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and coordinate discharge planning as needed.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records to support quality care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with evidence-based practices and industry advancements.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- A valid Physical Therapist License in California (or ability to obtain within 120 days).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
