We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Operator to join our team at Vaupell Industrial.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position working on 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime and weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loads, operates, cleans and maintains CNC machines and other shop equipment as directed by production schedules and quality control procedures.
  • Ensures that parts are made to specification to achieve customer satisfaction and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Verifies settings by measuring specifications on work pieces and detecting malfunctions.
  • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting operations, taking measurements, and adjusting controls.
  • Adheres to production scheduling and operation of machines to meet deadlines and productivity goals.
  • Duty Document Inspection, TPM and other required data as directed.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, and suggesting improvements.
  • Participates in safety training and actively complies with safety policies and practices; maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English; understand, read and write the English language.
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 year plus job specific experience.
  • Overtime and weekends may be required and are considered to be part of the job.
  • Basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
  • Ability to work with a team, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence.
  • Candidates must be a US Person to ensure Vaupell's compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $55,000 and $65,000, depending on experience.
