A renowned healthcare organization in Geneva, NY seeks a seasoned Payroll Manager to join their Fiscal Services team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $48,000 to $57,600 per annum and an excellent benefits package.



Job Summary

This pivotal role is responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for a large healthcare organization, ensuring federal and state regulatory compliance, and leading payroll system maintenance and upgrades. The successful candidate will also participate in HRIS team initiatives and prepare and analyze custom payroll reports.



Key Responsibilities



  • Process bi-weekly payroll for a large healthcare organization

  • Manage federal and state regulatory reporting and compliance

  • Lead payroll system maintenance, upgrades, and testing

  • Participate in HRIS team initiatives

  • Prepare and analyze custom payroll reports

  • Support internal and external audit requirements

  • Ensure policy and procedure compliance within the payroll team



Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:





  • An Associate's degree in Business or a related field

  • Minimum 4 years of computerized payroll experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel

  • Experience with Ultipro payroll software (preferably)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
