Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Executive Courier to join our team at the US Department of State in Washington, DC. As a key member of our support services team, you will be responsible for delivering correspondence between government buildings and performing various administrative tasks.

About the Role
  • Conduct daily runs between the State Department and Congressional Office Buildings
  • Operate government-provided vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Pick-up and deliver correspondence and other items as required
  • Plan and execute routes sensitive to office schedules and transportation issues
  • Provide assistance to the L-H/EX Support Services Team on routine work duties
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to drive a government vehicle
  • Three years' experience driving a van or similar vehicle
  • Three years' experience as a courier
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of State Department experience preferred
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $40-$45 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and vacation time.
