Custodian Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Custodian Supervisor to join our team at Hays Consolidated Independent School District.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our custodial staff, ensuring that our school facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a key role in supporting the education of students within our district.

1. Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and support to our custodial staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
2. Cleaning and Maintenance: Oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance of school facilities, including the operation of cleaning equipment and the management of supplies.
3. Safety and Security: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, and that our facilities are secure and free from hazards.

• Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years' experience in custodial services.
• Skills: Ability to communicate effectively; knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with frequent walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting (50 lbs. and over) on a daily basis. You will also be exposed to extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust, and chemicals.
