Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a mobile radiologic technologist at DispatchHealth Management, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in their homes or various settings. Your primary responsibility will be to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using portable radiologic equipment, ensuring accurate and safe results.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to patient locations, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, and residential homes, to perform diagnostic imaging exams.
- Collect and verify all required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate portable radiologic equipment at patient's bedside or other designated exam settings.
- Determine exposure factors based on height, weight, body part, and degree of penetration required.
- Process images and review them for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
- Transmit images and associated documentation in a timely manner according to company protocols.
- Complete visit logs and reports of work performed according to standard protocols.
- Maintain and clean equipment, troubleshoot issues, and assist with problem-solving as directed by management.
- Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a state x-ray license.
- Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment.
- Adaptability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- A competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
