Program Manager

As a seasoned Program Manager at Presidio, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of technology projects on time and within budget. You will lead large implementation programs involving diverse technologies across multiple Presidio delivery teams, driving expected program outcomes in partnership with client sponsors and stakeholders. Your expertise in program governance, project management, and team leadership will be essential in establishing a framework for each program assigned and ensuring successful project delivery.

- Drive expected program outcomes in partnership with client sponsors and stakeholders
- Establish program governance framework for each program assigned
- Lead multiple technology implementation projects simultaneously using Presidio's project management method
- Coordinate all program activities with business owners, stakeholders, and other support, technical infrastructure, and application teams
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between program workstreams, including vendors, customers, sub-contractors, and engineering teams
- Track and maintain an accurate and continually updated view of program activities and deliverables to ensure successful project delivery
- Assure that expected service levels are met and all Statement of Work deliverables meet quality standards
- Perform day-to-day management of all phases of the program, including requirements, design, development, test, and deployment
- Oversee project managers delivering projects within the program
- Manage resource planning and assignments by partnering with internal staff to determine project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedules
- Define team member roles and expectations and ensure effective communication between all parties involved in the project
- Maintain program-level budget by reviewing and completing weekly timesheet and expense approvals for program team
- Monitor cost to provide accounting support for project time, materials, and services
- Oversee change management on the overall program scope, according to a predefined change process, to meet program goals
- Develop a partner relationship with the client for long-term benefit
- Remain up to date on relevant solutions, products, and services by attending internal training/meetings, achieving developmental plan goals, and obtaining or maintaining PM certifications
- Actively participate in the development of Program and Project Management practices by participating in internal change initiatives
- Demonstrated program management skills
- Strong project management, time management, and coordination skills
- Demonstrated ability to implement projects successfully on-time and on-budget
- Effective people management skills, including motivating, developing, coaching, directing, and identifying the best people for the job
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and active listening skills
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to manage relationships by persuading and negotiating with others
- Solid change management skills to influence and lead the project team and customer through the change management process
- Results-oriented with a demonstrated strong commitment and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
- Ability to manage numerous small projects simultaneously
- Strong critical thinking, complex problem-solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to sense and forecast problem areas
- Ability to travel
- PMP certification preferred
- Program Management certification a plus
- Other technical certifications a plus
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent work experience and/or military service
- + years project management and + years program management experience managing multiple projects to successful completion, preferably at a technology solution provider or in a corporate Information Technology department
- Proficient in Microsoft Project or equivalent project management tool
