Cyber Security Specialist Position

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our team as an Android Developer. This role will focus on developing custom capabilities used on live systems, utilizing expertise in both Linux and Android tool development.

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and offers a competitive salary of $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous compensation package, Cohere provides fully paid health care premiums, dental, vision, and life insurance, 240 hours PTO/year, a 401k plan with matching employer contributions, and a yearly training allowance for self-development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop tools that work in both user and kernel space using C/C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Utilize knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Networking (sockets), Multithreading, and implementing cryptographic protocols for data at rest and data in transit.
  • Bypass protections like DEP and ASLR using in-depth knowledge of exploitation techniques.
  • Reverse engineer software using debuggers and disassemblers, with an understanding of assembly constructs and calling conventions.
  • Collaborate with team members to advise and assist in complex technical tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in coding, computer security, and reverse engineering.
  • Proficient in C/C++, Python, and relevant operating systems.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD tools.
