Job Summary:

The Test Technician will play a critical role in supporting quality, process, and safety improvement initiatives at GE Vernova. This position is second shift, and the ideal candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze test results and troubleshoot complex problems to ensure product quality and safety.
  • Interpret diagrams and specifications for all products and perform prescribed tests.
  • Construct test equipment and make prototype tests to verify specifications.
  • Train and direct personnel as required, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Interface with Manufacturing and Engineering functions to ensure seamless communication.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year related experience in quality control testing.
  • Ability to read schematics and use scopes, meters, and logic analyzers efficiently.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and distinguish colors, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to obtain Level 3 training qualification and work second shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience performing system assembly and test operations.
  • Proficient in analyzing micro-processor circuit boards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and basic PC skills.
