Sales and Customer Service Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Sales and Customer Service Specialist to join our team at DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES DIST INC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Broaden customer base by maintaining active Dealer communication, promoting new product launches, services, supplies, prices, and discounts via outbound calls and in-house counter discussions.
- Maintain sales programs within assigned territory by keeping customers informed about available services, supplies, prices, and new products.
- Provide exceptional customer service through walk-ins, phone calls, and emails, covering product/order information, sales, warranties, and returns.
- Execute all aspects of the sales function, including order processing, purchase orders, payment processing, quotes, and delivery dates, ensuring accuracy of entered information for correct item(s) ordering.
- Recommend alternative products based on cost, availability, or specifications as needed.
- Obtain and monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed, coordinating with manufacturing, sales, distribution, and vendors regarding shipments.
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing timely product and technical information.
- Educate customers about product terminology, features, and benefits to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items and conduct cycle counts as required.
- Replenish showroom stock as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager to determine the best methods to resolve problems, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to organizational policies.
- Coordinate problem resolution with appropriate departments.
- Daily process cash drawer, end-of-shift count of money, prepare deposit slip, and place it in safe.
- Maintain records and prepare reports on sales activities.
- Periodically reach out to customers to determine satisfaction with the organization, products, and services.
- Monitor competitive activity and trends within the territory.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
