We are seeking an experienced Advanced Healthcare Professional to join our team at the Southeaastern Medical Center.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care as part of a dynamic healthcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your skills and expertise in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and Treat Patients: You will diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses in patients, utilizing your advanced knowledge and training.
- Prescribe Medications and Treatments: As a Nurse Practitioner, you will have the authority to prescribe all necessary medications and treatments for patients.
- Conduct Comprehensive Physical Exams: You will perform thorough physical examinations of patients to assess their health status.
- Develop Patient Management Plans: Based on your findings, you will develop and implement effective patient management plans and policies.
- Facilitate Referrals: You will facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities when necessary.
- Communicate with Physicians: You will communicate effectively with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
- Perform Injections: As required, you will perform trigger point injections and/or cortisone injections for various body parts.
- Obtain DOT Certification: You will maintain DOT medical examiner certification as part of your responsibilities.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience in Nursing or Medical Fields: You should have previous experience in nursing or other medical fields, demonstrating your ability to provide high-quality patient care.
- Rapport-Building Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: As a key member of our team, you must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership qualities and the ability to guide others in delivering exceptional patient care are highly valued.
- Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
