We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Renal Therapies Specialist in Acute Care. Job Summary

As a Renal Therapies Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in acute settings, including hospitals and dialysis centers. Your expertise will include nephrology care through hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and apheresis. You will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized nephrology care in acute settings, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Conduct patient observations, measuring vital signs, and setting up dialysis equipment
  • Work effectively in fast-paced environments, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) preferred
  • No dialysis experience required; training provided
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification desirable
