About the Role:

  • Assist providers with patient examination, procedures, and documentation of patient histories, routine lab procedures, and preparation of specimens for transport to the lab.
  • Follow up on test orders and report results to providers and patients, provide and maintain patient education materials, maintain medical equipment, and order clinical supplies.
  • Create and maintain patient electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Comply with all OSHA and CLIA regulations.

Requirements:

  • Approved Medical Assistant Certification required within 6 months of hire date or proof of active license/EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician) or Paramedic or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse).
  • Required High School or Equivalent.
  • Preferred 2 years Medical Assistant experience.
