Job Responsibilities
  • Install and commission controls on equipment in the metal forming industry, working with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and other electrical components.
  • Collaborate with an engineering team to procure and build industrial controls, maintaining CAD drawings and BOM while upholding design standards and build practices.
  • Provide advanced field service support during installation of custom integrated controls.
  • Interact with customers, design teams, and vendors to define scope, plans, and product deliverables.
  • Continue to advance internal proficiencies while collaborating with other NP&A engineering groups to align products for a common look and feel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, with experience, advanced study, or cooperative educational experience in a similar field beneficial. Or, associate's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering Technology with equivalent work experience.
  • Specific experience with PLCs, HMIs, and servo controls in a manufacturing or factory automation setting.
  • Experience in object-oriented programming languages such as VB.net, WPF, C#, C++, or C would be a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc).
  • Able to interact and thrive in a dynamic team environment to achieve organizational goals.
  • Position requires 10% travel, some international.
Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Additionally, opportunities for professional growth and development are available.
