Seeking a Board-Certified Neonatologist

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neonatologist to join our Department of Pediatrics. This full-time position will be part of a 12-physician team at a busy 64-bed quaternary care NICU in Illinois's 3rd largest Children's Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical care to neonatal children with problems in the hospital and outpatient setting.
  • Participate in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs of the Department of Pediatrics.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Advanced Practice Nurses, Neonatal-Perinatal Fellows, and Residents.
  • Contribute to research and scholarly quality improvement activities within the Neonatology Division and Pediatrics Department.
Requirements:
  • MD/DO or equivalent degree.
  • 3 years residency and 3 years neonatal-perinatal in an ACGME-accredited fellowship.
  • Board certification in Pediatrics is required.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Neonatology.
  • Eligible for licensure in Illinois.
