Job Overview

Maintain a seamless event experience for over 200,000 annual visitors at Mount Auburn Cemetery, while ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and revenue growth goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an annual event strategy that showcases Mount Auburn's beauty and cultural significance.
  • Lead a team of event coordinators and volunteers, fostering collaboration and excellence in event execution.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and increase revenue.
  • Analyze program metrics and report on progress to stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to create and implement policies and procedures that ensure consistent standards across all events.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning and management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
Salary and Benefits

$85,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
