Job Description

As a Behavior Technician at Lighthouse CH, you will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and other special needs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

You will teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive and structured environment, promoting independence and well-being.

  • Implement ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children, following individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
  • Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive and structured environment.
  • Foster a positive and engaging therapeutic relationship with clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review progress, address concerns, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers, providing updates on therapy goals, progress, and strategies for generalization of skills to the home setting.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, including progress notes and data collection.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and manage a caseload.
  • Open to learning and receiving feedback, with a growth mindset and willingness to enhance professional skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred but not required.

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
