Job Description

At 604 Hospitality Group, we are seeking a skilled Expediter to join our team. As an Expediter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, communicating orders to our culinary team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Maintain a positive attendance record and adhere to company time off and illness procedures.
  • Ensure sanitation and safety standards are met, with a focus on maintaining a score of 90% or better on all audits.
  • Meet uniform, appearance, and grooming standards as specified in the Employee Handbook.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service, maintaining a customer complaint ratio of less than 1 per 100 customers served.
  • Know all menu items, accurately explain specials, and answer menu-related questions.
  • Understand table numbering and accurately identify delegated table assignments.
  • Communicate orders to kitchen staff with 100% accuracy and serve complete meals within 1 hour per table.
  • Perform side work correctly as assigned and follow end-of-shift checkout procedures with 100% accuracy.
  • Check the quality of food, add garnishes, and communicate orders to servers within 1 minute of receipt.
  • Maintain a good team environment by assisting colleagues with station duties and side-work when needed.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.
  • Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must have the ability to lift, stoop, and bend.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Must be able to work well with others.
  • Must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Must be efficient and accurate with money and figures.
  • Must possess manual ability to manipulate the register system and handle/serve food.
  • Must be able to pass food safety training.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
