About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cloud Marketing Strategist to help execute our field marketing strategy at Amazon Web Services. This is a unique opportunity to make your mark on a fast-growing business in the exciting and dynamic cloud and SaaS marketplace.

Job Description

The Cloud Marketing Strategist will partner with marketing & sales leaders to help execute campaigns, programs and events that align to the marketing strategies on pipeline and revenue attainment. As part of this job, you will work on exciting and various activations across the AWS business to achieve maximum impact, execute multi-channel marketing plans, and use a data driven approach to decision making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with sales & marketing leaders to execute on differentiated marketing programs and campaigns
  • Event execution with attention to detail and customer obsession in mind
  • Driving implementation of the marketing plan through team and leveraging shared services, supporting teams, and agencies as needed
  • D Delivering high value customer experiences focused on the customer needs and progression through the buyer's journey
  • Being empowered to think big to deliver new ideas and creative approaches to support goals and objectives
  • Identifying opportunities to leverage existing materials, campaigns and resources and drive inclusion and participation of customers in programs led by other organizations
  • Working with other marketing team to deliver necessary messaging, assets and campaign deliverables as needed to support marketing programs and address customer challenges
  • Delivering detailed reporting and metrics on activity results, campaign effectiveness, and ROI. Using data to make real-time adjustments and proactively identify trends and opportunities
  • Sharing plans and campaign tactics with other team members to facilitate, reuse, and replicate best practices
  • Managing program budgets, ensuring compliance with internal finance policies and on-time payment to vendors
  • Oversseeing marketing agency and vendor relationships and contracting as needed
