We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to our General Managers and Home Office team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all accounting functions for your property, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare financial documents, including balance sheet analysis, forecasts, and cash flow statements, within specified timeframes.
  • Analyze and interpret financial results to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and Uniform System of Accounts.
  • Develop and maintain effective treasury cash management practices.
  • Review and approve financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accuracy and alignment with company goals.
  • Coach department heads on financial responsibilities and effective financial management techniques.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Studies, with a Master's degree and/or CPA preferred.
  • 2-3 years of Director-level experience in hospitality finance, with a strong background in accounting and financial management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and current technology expertise.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
