Maintenance Planner

Our competitive compensation package includes an estimated annual salary range of $80,000-$87,000, reflecting the value we place on our employees' contributions.

This role focuses on developing and implementing a comprehensive preventive maintenance program, ensuring optimal equipment efficiency and minimizing downtime. The Maintenance Planner will collaborate with the Maintenance team to schedule proactive maintenance, utilizing advanced planning methods and tools, including software solutions.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the preventive maintenance program, incorporating processes and documentation necessary for success.
• Provide metric calculations and reporting to measure program effectiveness.
• Fully utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to streamline maintenance operations.
• Process and prioritize work orders, examining approaches for completion, ensuring necessary documents and parts availability.
• Collaborate with maintenance management and purchasing to manage spare parts inventory for production lines and building/facility maintenance assets.
• Promote proactive manufacturing principles, including lean, TPM, RCM, and other relevant methodologies.
• Maintain inventory records, ordering, tracking, and coding supplies accurately.
• Support food safety programs, quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent; technical school program completion preferred.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• CMMS experience and proficiency in computer applications.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles, planning methods, and practices.
• Ability to create programs and procedures from scratch, demonstrating strong communication skills and attention to detail.
