Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dance Instructor to join our team at Metro Parks Tacoma. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for providing fun, informative, and exciting dance classes to participants of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare instruction materials or lesson plans
  • Instruct and teach participants using excellent citizenship, sportsmanship, and inclusivity
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Provide each participant the opportunity to succeed and grow their skills through program opportunities
Requirements
  • At least 16 years of age
  • At least 1 year of related dance experience
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification may be required
Benefits
  • Average 10 hours per week
  • Competitive salary range: $16.28 - $28.85 per hour
