Overview

Dartmouth Health is seeking a Cardiology Specialist to join our Advanced Heart Failure team. As an expert in general cardiology and advanced heart failure, you will collaborate with a diverse section of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to deliver innovative care.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in both inpatient and ambulatory clinical settings, providing high-quality care and education to heart failure patients and their families as part of a multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include the assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex and acute cardiac conditions, including cardiomyopathy and heart failure, cardiogenic shock, temporary mechanical circulatory support, and evaluation for transplant and LVAD candidacy.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will play a key role in teaching and quality improvement activities. With opportunities for academic appointment and advancement, this position is ideal for motivated providers who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide and coordinate high-quality care and education to heart failure patients and their families
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage complex and acute cardiac conditions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative care
  • Participate in teaching and quality improvement activities

Qualifications:

  • National Certification from an approved certifying body
  • Eligible for APRN or PA-C licensure in the State of New Hampshire
  • Eligible for Federal DEA registration
