Salary Information

The estimated weekly salary for this position is $$$$$/week*, where *Estimated wages and expense reimbursement. Does not include taxes, insurance, or other deductions that may occur. The hourly rate is equivalent to 36 hours/week at $$$$$/hour.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with physicians and other health team members.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating and collaborating with physicians and other health team members
  • Providing and coordinating patient care with other health team members
  • Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes
  • Administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • S Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transporting patients as needed

In addition to your clinical skills, we are looking for candidates who possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One to three years experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
