About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Communications Expert to join our team at P17 Solutions LLC in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic communications, with a strong background in developing and implementing effective communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to engage stakeholders and promote organizational goals.
  • Compile technical information into clear and concise content for various audiences.
  • Provide program support for short- and long-term planning initiatives, including strategic communications and storytelling.
  • Execute collaborative facilitation, organizational support, best practices, knowledge management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Communications support includes planning, drafting/writing, and moderating of management meetings.
  • Disseminate team feedback forms to collect timely questions and comments.
  • Write communications to executive level leadership and stakeholders.
  • Develop and track executive level notes, minutes, briefings, and artifacts.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in strategic communications, preferably in a complex environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in any field is required; a Master's degree counts as three additional years of experience.
  • Experience in project management, change management, leadership development, and/or program support.
  • Facilitating meetings with varying numbers of participants.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to understand both meaning and intent of writing to develop appropriate response strategies.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and support FAA management, including executive levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Prior FAA or DOT experience is required.
