About the PositionThis tenure-track position involves teaching introductory undergraduate courses and upper-level or graduate courses in an area of specialization. You will establish a nationally recognized research program addressing fundamental questions in biology and be an effective teacher and mentor to undergraduate and graduate students.
Qualifications- A Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field is required.
- You must have a strong record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, demonstrating expertise in molecular and cellular biology or a closely aligned field.
- Demonstrated ability to secure funding is essential.
- A well-defined research plan that aligns with the job description and can attract graduate students is necessary.
- You should have teaching experience at the university level and/or formal pedagogical training.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research projects is required.
