Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SLP to provide virtual speech and language services to school-aged children. In this role, you will assist diverse students in overcoming communication challenges and reaching their full potential. You will work closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver personalized therapy sessions.


Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose disorders in speech, language, voice, and fluency, and develop tailored IEPs for each student.
  • Provide high-quality therapy sessions, monitor student progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support and address communication challenges effectively.
  • Conduct screenings, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to team meetings for effective planning and decision-making.
  • Advocate for student needs, stay up-to-date on the latest developments, and engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and expertise.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • A current Georgia SLP license
  • ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
  • At least 2 years of experience working with students who have communication disorders
  • Prior experience providing virtual therapy services is a significant advantage
  • A fast and reliable computer connection with internet access
