About the Role

The Capstone at Station Camp is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Resident Care Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care to our residents.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of resident care, including assisting the Director of Resident Care in promoting optimal care and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. You will also oversee staff development within the Assisted Living Department and Generations/Memory Care unit, providing training and support to caregivers and medication aides as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Ensure provision of high-quality services to residents, monitoring and carrying out federal and state policies governing resident care.
  2. Coordinate departmental schedules and staffing, adhering to company standards, policies, procedures, budgets, and state law.
  3. Oversee continuing education and staff development programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state licensing requirements.
  4. Conduct or participate in orientation for new employees, ensuring they understand the department's goals, policies, and procedures.
  5. Develop and implement training programs to ensure competent delivery of medications, emergency procedures, record-keeping, and acceptable treatments.
  6. Monitor and assist with personal care services and medication provision, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  7. Arrange for coverage during employee rest periods, meal periods, or absences, either through delegation or personal completion of duties.
  8. Assist with resident assessment programs, administering pre-admission and periodic assessments, and monitoring changes in status.
  9. Conduct interviews and observations to alert the Director of Resident Care and others to changes in resident physical or emotional health.
  10. Complete required data entry into Eldermark to maintain resident care information.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A valid Tennessee Nurse Licensure.
  • One year experience providing residential care to the elderly or similar experience with specialized dementia care programs.
  • Prefer one year supervisory experience in a health-related field.
