Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Drilling Apprentice to join our team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in maintaining and operating rock drill machines across various locations in the Pacific Northwest, including woods, rock pits, quarries, development sites, and highway projects.

Responsibilities
  • Learn and operate rock drill machines safely and efficiently
  • Assist the blast crew with loading and unloading explosives from trucks and help transport crushed stone to blast holes
  • Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying job site conditions
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with proof of insurance
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug test
  • Clean driving record (no more than three moving violations within the last three years)
  • Clean criminal history
  • Reliable transportation to our base shop in Cheney, WA
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Team player with prior construction laborer experience preferred
  • Willingness to work weekends as needed
