Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Guest Service Lead to join our team at Embassy Suites Downtown. As a key member of our front desk staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring that all guests have an unforgettable experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strong sales techniques and excellent guest service, exceeding brand standards and core values.
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, and evaluating Guest Service Representatives.
  • Conduct property training, concierge training, and brand training for newly-hired GSRs.
  • Ensure all GSRs sell the property according to Suburban Inns standards.
  • Assist with prospecting new hotel business and communicate information to the sales department.
  • Maintain a neat and clean workspace in the front desk areas.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; one year of Guest Service Representative experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with computer applications, record keeping, and word processing is essential.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • First Aid/CPR certification and TIPS training are required.
  • A flexible work schedule is needed, including day, evening, night, holiday, and weekend shifts.
