Magnet Medical seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Rock Island, Illinois. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist who can assess, treat, and care for patients with various respiratory disorders. Some of the key responsibilities include:
• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans
• Providing oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, pulmonary rehabilitation, and airway clearance techniques
• Collaborating with physicians to adjust and monitor ventilation settings for patients requiring mechanical ventilation or non-invasive positive pressure ventilation
• Administering respiratory treatments, including aerosol therapy, incentive spirometry, and airway management
• Continuously monitoring patient progress and adjusting therapy as necessary
Working Conditions:
This role will involve working 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, on nights. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality care to patients despite challenging situations.
