Penn State Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As an inpatient nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be working closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide individualized, innovative, and specialized care to patients in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administering nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients
  • Maintaining accurate, detailed reports and records
  • Monitoring, recording, and reporting symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must hold a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or hold a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred but not required. BLS certification is also required prior to orientation completion.
