Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to work in our Acute Pediatrics department. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients and providing evidence-based treatment programs to facilitate patient-specific goals. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will ensure seamless communication and coordination to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to address occupational therapy needs.
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure holistic patient care and achieve identified goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure by examination.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Salary Range

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
