As a Document Management Clerk, you will play a critical role in processing all incoming and outgoing customer correspondence, including scanning, electronic filing, indexing, data entry, application processing, and special mailing jobs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort and process mail by categories, including incoming fax and e-mail correspondence.
  • Scan and index all correspondence (incoming and outgoing).
  • Process changes to indexing uploaded through the web.
  • Perform quality control of letter output.
  • Process incoming correspondence from Lockbox accurately and assign to the correct team.
  • Process returned mail.
  • Process application corrections after receipt of application.
  • Data entry of incoming checks received via mail.
  • Pull Special Letter Requests (SLRs).
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 1-year clerical experience.
  • Basic PC and Microsoft Office tools skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent oral communication skills, ten-key by touch; must be able to type 35 wpm.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good judgment.
  • Great organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellent attention to detail and team player skills are required.
  • Working knowledge of prepaid and savings plans preferred, as well as general knowledge of finance and matriculation functions.
