Job Summary
As a Group Home Worker at Berkshire Farm Center & Services for Youth, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment for youth in a group home setting. Your primary goal will be to maintain a secure atmosphere that fosters positive growth and change in the youth. This includes teaching daily and independent living skills, mentoring, and promoting community integration.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and engage youth in activities that promote socialization and skill-building
Demonstrate strong decision-making, organizational, and communication skills, including attention to detail
Form therapeutic relationships with youth and families, providing emotional support and guidance
Work with a culturally and economically diverse population, promoting inclusivity and respect
Knowledge of group dynamics is preferred, but not required

Requirements
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree in Human Services preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience working with at-risk youth, preferably in a group home setting
TCI, First Aid/CPR certification required or ability to obtain and maintain certification
Flexible availability required, including night and weekend hours
Must have a current and valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history
