Social Services Director

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Social Services and Patient Care to join our team at River Ridge Center in Kennebunk, ME. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and dignity of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive social services programs that address the unique needs of our patients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Supervise and mentor social services staff to ensure high-quality care and services.
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify patients' strengths and needs.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on their rights, responsibilities, and available resources.
- Bachelor's degree in social work or human services.
- State-specific certifications or licenses to practice in long-term care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
