Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic mammographic and stereotactic examinations on patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic mammographic and stereotactic examinations on patients based on department procedures.
- Communicate clinical observations to radiologists/surgeons and present clinical history as recorded on documentation.
- Assist with breast localizations performed using mammography guidance.
- Demonstrate competency in RIS/HIS and mammography reader system.
- Assist in gathering and recording QA data for Radiology Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Program.
- Ensure Quality Control is completed on equipment.
- Teach and train students in specified technology.
- Maintain ACR mammography quality assurance criteria.
- Participate in continuing education programs for professional development.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT registered.
- Minimum of 1-year staff technologist experience preferred.
- At least 1-year experience in mammography preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
