Job Title: Licensed Professional Counselor

At the 36th Judicial District Juvenile Probation, we are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of at-risk youth and their families.

About the Role:
  • We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Master's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
  2. Current Licensure in Texas to provide counseling services (LPC or LPC intern/associate).
  3. Be within 18 months of completing internship to be fully licensed.
  4. Experience and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed services, and post-traumatic stress disorders is preferred.
  5. One year experience working with at risk youth preferred.
  6. Ability to complete documentation needed to satisfy licensing and program requirements.
  7. Must have a valid Driver License, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
  8. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
