Civil Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Construction Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our construction operations team, you will be responsible for leading on-site teams and ensuring the successful delivery of civil construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Lead on-site teams from construction start to project close, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Design and Schedule Management: Proactively identify and address design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project-specific issues to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communication and Contract Management: Communicate and interpret contract scope to the entire site management team, ensuring clear understanding and adherence to project requirements.
- Preconstruction Meetings: Conduct preconstruction meetings with subcontractors to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements and expectations.
- Project Scheduling: Create and maintain project production schedules, ensuring timely completion and efficient resource allocation.
- Scope Development: Review and assist in developing scopes of work for each subcontractor, ensuring accurate and comprehensive project documentation.
- Quality Control: Administer a Quality Control Plan, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Management: Review and approve all invoices and requisitions to ensure correct payment to vendors.
- Safety Protocols: Enforce safety protocols to ensure the job site consistently adheres to OSHA safety standards.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and evaluate assigned project personnel, maintaining a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate regularly with owners, construction managers, other superintendents, and project coordinators to ensure progress and address any project-related concerns.
- Experience: 5+ years as a construction superintendent for a civil general contractor.
- OSHA Certification: OSHA certification is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HCSS, Procore, and Excel.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Leadership Experience: Experience leading ground-up construction projects and managing a large team.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of utilities and site work.
